It’s Amazing What Pipe & Drape Can Do

Suwanee, Georgia: (April 3, 2015) – Georgia Expo is excited to announce the winner of our 13’’ Apple® Macbook
Air Photo Contest: congratulations to Stacy Hiera, owner of Memorable Events in Chattanooga, TN!

Stacy learned she was the winner the morning of April 3rd after a surprise phone call from her Account Executive at Georgia Expo. Stacy has been a customer for years now, but was still amazed she had won the contest. “I can’t believe I actually won,” was her initial response. When asked how she felt about winning Stacy exclaimed, “I’m excited! I’ve wanted a Mac for a while, but haven’t had the opportunity yet.” As a small business owner, she plans on using the new laptop to help grow her business.

Memorable Events is an activity rental company that works to improve birthday parties, fundraisers, church gatherings, company picnics, campus events, and more. Stacy reports using pipe and
drape in many of her events to liven up decorations, outline space, and especially for “event banners where we can’t hang things directly on the wall.” The sales order of the products featured in the
winning photo included a screw-in base and upright system, 8ft French Blue Banjo drape, and sign hooks to hang an individual thank you for success at the United Way.

Stacy was just one of hundreds of contestants. Photos ranged from the humorous to the elegant and ran the gambit on pipe and drape uses: booth designs, custom curtains, trade show displays, party backdrops, religious events, and amazing wedding decorations. Stacy becomes the second Georgia Expo Sweepstakes winner from the lucky state of Tennessee. Our first was David Surbrook who won our Fiat 500 giveaway back in November 2013.

Georgia Expo wants to thank all of the contestants for the amazing photos sent in. Although there could only be one winner of the 13’’ Apple® Macbook Air, the collected photos were a prize in and of themselves. Check out the slideshow of collected photo entries created by our production team here.
