Description
Typically used as a lighter weight alternative to Commando , Duvetyne is a durable, 95% opaque fabric with a soft felt-like, brushed matte finish. Is commonly used for masking around in the theater, film and motion picture industry. It’s also used to control light spill in in film and photography studios. Duvetyne by the roll comes 56″ wide by 60 yards per roll.
*Dye lots can vary. If you are trying to match existing inventory, please request a dye lot sample from a sales representative.
*When purchasing fabric by the roll, yardage can vary +/- 10%.
*While uncommon, there may be breaks or imperfections within a roll, up to 5%
*When purchasing less than a full roll, the fabric will be accordion folded, not re-rolled
*Depending on the number of yard purchased, cut yards will be boxed, and rolled goods ship in a thick mil poly bag or on a pallet

Our Duvetyne is a polyester fabric, not a cotton fabric making it machine washable and more durable than others on the market.
Our Duvetyne is 12oz. fabric where most others available on the market is an 8oz. fabric.
Duvetyne fabric can be dye lot sensitive. We use a color scanner to take the human eye out of the equation when matching dye lots. If you already have Duvetyne in your inventory, we are happy to match your dye lot as close as possible. Just give us a call (1.800.433.9767), and we’ll look up your last order and send you out the closest dye lot match for your approval. If this is your first order of Duvetyne, we’ll keep your shade number on file, and if asked, will match it as close as possible for your next order!
We also offer Duvetyne finished into Drape panels or custom cut off the roll to your desired yardage (a cut fee may apply).
