With the first quarter behind us and the second quarter here already, Georgia Expo has reason to celebrate!  First quarter 2010 posts the 2nd highest quarter in gross sales in 24 years of business!  This was only slightly surpassed by first quarter 2007.  Not only that, but March 2010 posted record sales numbers making it Georgia Expo's best month in 24 years!  President and Owner, Philip DiTrolio says, "We have manufactured and shipped out more Pipe and Drape than ever before.  We hope this is a sign that the Events & Trade Show Industry is healing faster than expected."

Numbers have stayed consistently high into the second quarter.  Sales Manager, Amanda Lisby put it this way, "We are trying to approach the sales process differently by educating and providing a support system for our customers; through this we have seen an increase in new and repeat business.  It's be an exciting snowball effect!"  With all this growth, Georgia Expo plans to expand their current line of products to meet the changing needs of their customers.  They are looking to move into a larger facility, upgrade machinery, and bring in new product ideas.

At a time when companies, are not growing, Georgia Expo Manufacturing in Norcross has not only outgrown its office and manufacturing space but it has placed its factory and offices up for sale.  Georgia Expo looks at this as great news, and is excited about the opportunity to move into a larger facility where they will be able to continually expand manufacturing and grow as a company.
“During the past year I’ve watched our warehouse shelves go from full, to stuffed, to over flowing!” said Amanda Lisby, Marketing Manager.  “We are all very excited about moving into a larger space where we can expand our operations and better meet the needs of our customers.”
Currently Georgia Expo has not announced whether it is looking to expand its Atlanta facility or to expand to a new region.
Georgia Expo purchased its Norcross, Georgia facility in 2004.
